Anyway tomorrow is AS prep. For the sec 1s who don't know, it's ANNUAL SHOW prep and basically AS is the 01 version of the campfires you keep hearing about and which I have asked you countless times to go for but only Darren went (albeit for a sucky one ): IM SORRY).
Anyway 01's AS is usually pretty awesome (no pressure or anything yenter), but the reason it is so is because of the hard work and effort from everyone. If you want 01's AS to be a success, put in the effort in the few preps before the actual event the results will be plain to see (:
Here's the details for tomorrow's act.
Date: 28th March 2011
Time: 3.45pm - 6.45pm
Venue: Gym Hall Atrium
Reporting attire: PE attire
Things to bring: Stationery, excitement!
Take note of the word in bold.
On a side note, we are almost done with our plogs :D I'll send you a copy of it once I have compiled and received the plogs from everyone. The people who still have not submitted are:
1) Weng Kay (NO VALID REASON)
2) Paul (did the wrong plog, Andrew say your thanks)
I hope that all of you realise that Plogs are a patrol effort and should not be just left to one person to solo everything. In the end, all of you are responsible for what we produce. Especially for Weng Kay, since the plog for batch project planning was allocated at the start of the year, so there should be no excuses.
On a side-r note, GO FOR CAMPFIRES. Its a really good chance to just relax and have fun with your batch/01 mates, and there's always something to laugh about even though the
The two upcoming campfires are: St. Margs (this Friday, 1/4/2011) and St. Andrews (9/4/2011)
In my personal experience St. Andrews campfires are generally of a higher standard so try to go for that one. The pressure of having to go for three campfires a year or having three people per patrol to attend each campfire shouldn't actually be the compelling reason for going for campfires. Encourage your batchmates to go as well so you can just chillax for about two hours or so and have fun (: Really hope that more of you will have greater enthusiasm for these kind of things.
If this lack of attendance for campfires persists, I'll draw up an attendance roster and I really don't want to have to do that.
Thanks,
Colin.
